We offer an on-site clinical laboratory for your convenience.  The lab is accredited as a “Moderate Complexity Laboratory” by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation.  We perform the following lab services: 

 

• Point of care testing for streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat), influenza (flu), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), infectious mononucleosis (mono), presence of blood in a stool sample (hemoccult)
   

• Screening tests for total cholesterol, blood glucose (sugar), complete blood count (CBC) and urinalysis
   

• Phlebotomy (blood draws) services for our older patients; those specimens are sent out to labs as dictated by the patient's insurance contract.
